Schedule, protect, and facilitate time for strategic thinking, decisions, and progress checks
Partner with organization leadership team to determine priorities
Categorize priorities in specific and deliberate lines of effort
Determine measurements for existing efforts (time, resources, etc.) against priorities
Evaluate workload and obligations and identify efficiency improvements
Assist with evaluating new internal and external opportunities against priorities and facilitate “go, no-go” decision making
Strategic Planning
Partner to develop strategic, implementation, and change management plans
Decompose strategic goals and objectives to the task level
Develop metrics specific to each goal/objective/task to measure progress
Create dashboards, reports and applicable management tools
Determine reporting cycle to manage strategic action and progress
Operations
Lead top priority or high-profile executive staff projects
Design efficient business and organizational systems and processes
Assist with planning team meetings, conferences, and other executive and business meetings
Facilitate efficient and effective meeting documentation and action follow up
Develop comprehensive action plans for daily operations and change initiatives
Create knowledge management and continuity plans and products
Team Management & Development
Assist team with aligning project planning and execution to the strategic plan
Facilitate team execution of project tasks with decision making and performance linked directly to strategic metrics
Support client leaders and managers with their direct reports
Create internal and external cross-functional team alignment and synergy
Assist with reconciling competing interests and limited resources
Develop and implement succession planning initiatives and tools

Talent Acquisition, Development and Retention
Provide HR support or augment existing HR programs
Conduct workforce analysis to determine requirements (spaces) to include competency, capacity, and responsibilities
Develop a talent acquisition plan prioritizing requirements and timing
Facilitate recruiting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding
Create and deliver workforce training for professional and personal excellence
Develop or facilitate performance review processes
Communications
Draft reports, newsletters, speeches, and other business communications
Create strategic, executive, or program presentations
Provide inbox support organizing, prioritizing, and drafting response emails
Manage social media accounts and other external communication products
